Fleet Space Technologies
When an Australian company with the mission to advance the frontiers of humanity by exploring new worlds, landed a partnership with NASA, it was something to crow about.
Adelaide-based Fleet Space Technologies specialises in technology to unlock new capabilities in the space, defence and critical mineral discovery fields, and it’s lab-built technology will form part of the NASA lunar mission in 2026.
In early 2023, Fleet Space Technologies was awarded a $4M grant by the Australian Space Agency for its Moon to Mars: Demonstrator Program, to develop a geophysical device that would deliver insight about the subsurface of the Moon’s South Pole. In late 2023, the company was informed that the device would be deployed on the moon by Firefly’s Blue Ghost lunar lander.
Within 24 hours of the announcement being made in the United States, H/Advisors APA had secured national Australian media coverage – including a live national television interview, as well as feature newspaper and radio coverage in major capital cities and regional publications, and importantly, in-depth coverage in industry specific manufacturing, space, and defence publications.
The aim of the coverage was to position Fleet on the global stage in the space and defence sectors, and to raise the profile of Australian IP and contribution to critical sectors.
