Marissa is communications and stakeholder engagement specialist with a 20 year career spanning Australia, North America and Asia.

She works with business leaders who are pursuing ambitious growth objectives or addressing critical challenges in the engineering, infrastructure, energy and resources, development and building sectors.

Marissa started her career in publishing before moving into corporate affairs at a global industrial engineering and services company, where she was responsible for delivering all aspects of internal and external communications.

Throughout her career she has served companies of various sizes, from large multinationals with revenues in excess of $1 billion to start-ups and small social enterprises. This has involved developing innovative and tailored communications solutions that are directly linked to business plans and objectives.

Prior to joining H/Advisors APA, Marissa worked at BILD (Building Industry and Land Development association) in a government relations role in Canada, leading the effort in all aspects of government engagement, providing leadership in the evaluation of policy and issues impacting the industry, and advocating for results-oriented outcomes.

Marissa has also managed financial communications on behalf of ASX listed companies and has successfully navigated takeovers, acquisitions, leadership changes, organisational restructures, rebranding and repositioning.
